This production is inspired by the Goldberg Variations, BWV. 998 which is a set of 30 variations by Johann Sebastian Bach, for the harpsichord. This work is considered one of the most important examples of variation form. This piano performance from the project 'the open Goldberg variations' is accompanied by a video of sunrise over Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier. Performed by Kimiko Ishizaka.
